This is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs. I cannot tell you what a long journey the past two and a half years have felt like. I know i've blogged it before... but I just have to say it again... if you don't know that Jesus has AWESOME plans in mind for HIS Children, then please hear it now! These words are true: "For I know the PLANS I have for YOU," declares the LORD. "MY PLANS are for YOUR GOOD. I will give you a HOPE and a FUTURE." (my paraphrase of Jeremiah 29:11).



I am understanding more and more that just because I can't see HIS BIG PICTURE for me, doesn't mean that their isn't one. Just because hurt SEEMS to last a long time, doesn't mean it actually has to last a long time. When I CHOOSE to STOP grieving over what I've lost or what I wanted but never had, and choose to START trusting in Jesus, my Saviour, who LOVES me, then I see my life in a very different light. I see it through the LIGHT of HIS TRUTH. He never lies to me or about me. There is no sin in Him. His promises are ALWAYS true and ALWAYS kept. I CAN DEPEND on Him, not to get what I want all the time; but to know that He will never leave me alone. He always has MY BEST in HIS MIND. He loves me so completely. And He leads me all the way to where HE WANTS me to be.



I hope I don't forget that the next time trouble comes knocking at my door. I hope that also encourages YOU! Blessings today, Dear Friends!
